Discover the Laguna Faucet Collection

A thoughtfully selected bathroom tap should complement the basin, suit the available space and provide convenient control for everyday use. The Laguna collection by Jaquar brings together a range of bathroom faucets and mixers for different basin and bathing applications. Its product selection includes single-lever basin mixers, extended basin mixers, high-neck basin mixers, bath and shower mixers, stop valves and other coordinated fittings.

The range offers options for bathrooms with different layouts and design requirements. A standard basin mixer may suit a conventional washbasin, while an extended or high-neck configuration can be considered for installations that require a different spout reach or height. Selected products are available in finishes such as chrome, black chrome, black matt, blush gold bright PVD, gold bright PVD and gold matt PVD, depending on the model.

When selecting a tap, consider the basin dimensions, mounting arrangement, plumbing connections and the finish of the other visible fittings. These practical details help determine whether a particular mixer is suitable for the intended installation.

What Is Included in the Laguna Range?

Laguna includes fittings for basin and bathing areas, with product configurations designed for different installation requirements. The range features single-lever basin mixers, extended basin mixers and high-neck basin mixers, as well as variants with different waste arrangements. It also includes selected bath and shower fittings and stop valves.

This range of options makes it possible to assess the tap according to the intended use rather than choosing solely by appearance. A compact basin, for example, may require a different spout profile from a countertop basin. Similarly, a bath and shower mixer must be compatible with the planned outlets and plumbing arrangement.

Product variants can differ in dimensions, finish, supplied components and mounting requirements. Check the exact product listing before specifying a model, particularly when comparing standard and extended basin mixers or choosing a version with a popup waste.

Types of Laguna Basin Mixers

Single-Lever Basin Mixers

A single-lever basin mixer uses one lever to control water flow and temperature. This operating arrangement offers straightforward adjustment and creates a relatively uncluttered appearance around the washbasin.

Laguna includes single-lever basin mixer options in selected finishes. The range also includes different product variants, so the correct model should be chosen according to the basin layout and required configuration. Check the product dimensions, connection details and included components before making a final selection.

A single-lever mixer can be considered for family bathrooms, ensuites, guest washrooms and other spaces where a practical basin fitting is required. The most suitable option will depend on the basin's mounting arrangement, the position of the tap hole and the available clearance.

Extended Basin Mixers

An extended basin mixer provides a different spout configuration from a standard basin mixer. Laguna includes extended single-lever basin mixer options, with variants that may differ in their waste arrangement and other product details.

An extended mixer should be selected according to the distance between the mounting point and the usable area of the basin. The outlet needs to reach far enough into the bowl to support comfortable use, without positioning the water stream too close to the edge.

Before choosing an extended model, measure the basin and countertop. Review the product dimensions and installation information to confirm that the spout reach suits the basin's shape and depth. An extended mixer is not automatically the right choice for every basin, so dimensions should guide the decision.

High-Neck Basin Mixers

The high-neck basin mixer has a taller profile and can be suitable for selected countertop or vessel basin installations. Laguna includes single-lever high-neck basin mixer options, providing another configuration to consider when additional vertical clearance is required.

The height of the tap should be assessed alongside the basin rim and countertop level. A suitable arrangement leaves room for hand movement while directing water into the basin. If the outlet is too high or poorly positioned, splashing may occur depending on the water stream and bowl geometry.

Confirm the product's height and reach against the basin specifications. Also check the available space above and around the mounting surface before selecting the fitting.

Basin Mixers with Different Waste Arrangements

The Laguna range includes basin mixer variants with different waste configurations, including models described with popup waste and click-clack waste options. Other variants may be supplied without a waste component.

These configurations should not be treated as interchangeable without checking the product details. Confirm the basin's waste opening, the type of mechanism required and whether the waste fitting is included with the selected mixer. If it is supplied separately, verify compatibility before ordering.

Selecting a Finish for Laguna Faucets

The tap finish can influence the overall character of the bathroom. Laguna listings include selected chrome, black chrome, black matt, blush gold bright PVD, gold bright PVD and gold matt PVD options. Availability varies by model, so check the exact product listing before choosing a finish.

Chrome

Chrome has a reflective appearance that can complement a wide range of basin styles and interior palettes. It can coordinate with other chrome fittings or provide a neutral metallic detail against darker surfaces.

Black Matt

Black matt creates a defined contrast against light-coloured basins, countertops and wall finishes. It can also coordinate with dark cabinetry, mirror frames and other selected bathroom accessories.

Black Chrome

Black chrome offers a darker reflective appearance. It can suit schemes that use contrasting metallic finishes or darker details around the basin and shower area.

Gold Finishes

Gold bright PVD and gold matt PVD can introduce a warmer visual accent. Blush gold bright PVD offers another finish option for bathrooms designed around warmer colours and materials. Choose the finish according to the precise product availability and the other fittings in the room.

For a coordinated result, compare the actual finish names and product images rather than assuming that every Laguna configuration is available in every finish.

How to Choose the Right Laguna Tap

Start with the Basin

Identify whether the basin is countertop-mounted, inset, under-counter or designed for another installation arrangement. Check the tap-hole position and the dimensions of the bowl. These factors determine the type of mixer and spout configuration that may be suitable.

For countertop basins, pay particular attention to the height of the basin above the counter. A high-neck mixer may be appropriate for some installations, while others may require a different profile.

Check Spout Reach and Height

Spout reach affects where the water lands inside the basin. Spout height determines the clearance between the outlet and the basin rim. Both dimensions influence everyday comfort and the potential for splashing.

Use the product's technical information to compare the fitting with the basin dimensions. Do not select a mixer based only on its overall appearance.

Confirm the Mounting Arrangement

Check whether the selected product is intended for deck mounting, countertop installation or another configuration. The tap must suit the available mounting surface and the existing or planned plumbing connections.

If replacing an existing fitting, confirm the number and position of the mounting holes. A replacement mixer may require different connections or installation preparation from the original tap.

Review the Supplied Components

Check whether the selected product includes a popup waste, click-clack waste or other components. Also review the connection details and any hoses or accessories identified in the product listing. These checks help avoid compatibility issues during installation.

Coordinating Laguna with Other Bathroom Fittings

The basin tap should be considered alongside the rest of the bathroom. Matching every fitting is not essential, but the shapes, finishes and proportions should work together.

Basins and Sanitaryware

The basin's shape and size affect the choice of mixer. A wide countertop basin may require a different spout reach from a compact washbasin. Explore the sanitaryware collection when planning the basin and surrounding fixtures.

Shower and Bath Fittings

If the room includes a bathtub or shower, consider how the selected tap finish relates to the other fittings. Check the configuration of the bath or shower mixer, its intended outlets and the required installation arrangement. Browse the shower collection and bathroom products as part of the overall specification.

Bathroom Accessories

Towel rails, robe hooks and other accessories contribute to the visual balance of the room. Coordinate their placement with the basin and shower area, ensuring that they do not obstruct tap operation or routine cleaning.

Installation and Compatibility

Before installation, verify the product code, dimensions, mounting method and connection requirements. The installer should confirm that the plumbing arrangement is suitable for the selected model and that the mounting surface provides sufficient support and access.

For basin mixers, check the alignment of the spout with the bowl. Secure the fitting according to its installation instructions, connect the water supply and check for leaks. Test the lever and confirm that water flows into the basin as intended.

For products with separate waste components, confirm compatibility with the basin and ensure that the waste mechanism operates correctly. For any bath or shower fitting, check that the model is suitable for the intended outlets and plumbing layout.

The installation requirements of individual models can vary. Refer to the current product documentation instead of assuming that all fittings within the same range use identical connections.

Cleaning and Everyday Maintenance

Use a soft cloth and a cleaning method suitable for the selected finish. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and scouring products that could damage the surface. Follow the product-specific care instructions, particularly for decorative finishes.

Regularly remove soap residue and water marks around the spout, lever and base. Drying the surface after cleaning can help reduce visible marks. If the water flow changes or a fitting develops a leak, follow the recommended maintenance procedure and consult a qualified professional for persistent issues.

Why Consider Laguna for a Bathroom Project?

Laguna provides multiple configurations to consider across basin and bathing applications. Its selection of standard, extended and high-neck basin mixers allows the fitting to be assessed against the basin layout, while its available finishes provide options for coordinating the tap with the rest of the bathroom.

Jaquar product listings provide model-specific information to support comparison. Review the exact product code, mounting arrangement, finish, dimensions and included components before making a final decision.

The most suitable tap is the one that combines the required functionality with the physical needs of the installation. Careful attention to basin dimensions, spout position, waste compatibility and finish helps create a coordinated and practical bathroom.
